Engineer Electrical & HVAC Execution

Role Purpose:

The Engineer Electrical & HVAC Execution is responsible for the craft execution of assigned Electrical and HVAC works on site, ensuring workmanship quality, safety, and adherence to approved drawings and specifications.

The role supports disciplined execution and readiness of systems for testing and commissioning.

Scope of Responsibility

- Execution of assigned Electrical and HVAC service works
- Supervision of contractor work fronts from a craft, quality, and safety perspective
- Adherence to execution methodologies, workmanship standards, and safety norms
- Testing and commissioning activities as required for Electrical + HVAC systems

This is a pure execution role. There is no accountability for material procurement, manpower sourcing, machinery planning, commercial management, or contract administration.

Position in the Organization

- Interfaces with:
- Other MEP & Infra execution engineers
- Planning & coordination teams (execution updates)
- Site MEP Delivery teams

Key Accountabilities Electrical & HVAC Craft Execution

- Execute Electrical & HVAC works as per approved GFC drawings and specifications.
- Ensure correct installation, alignment, and finish of services.
- Maintain discipline in execution sequencing and site practices.

Quality & Safety Compliance

- Enforce workmanship standards and quality checklists on assigned work fronts.
- Follow safety procedures strictly and report unsafe conditions immediately.

Execution Discipline & Support

- Update & Track daily progress of assigned works and contractor outputs.
- Coordinate with adjacent trades to avoid execution clashes.
- Support testing, commissioning,



and issue closure.

Key Deliverables

- Assigned Electrical & HVAC works executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards
- Defect-free and safe execution across assigned work fronts
- Electrical & HVAC systems ready for testing and commissioning as per planned sequencing
- Accurate and timely execution updates provided to the Senior Engineer and Planning & MEP Coordination teams, covering progress, constraints, and site issues
- Prompt reporting and closure of execution, quality, and safety observations

Execution

- Completion of assigned Electrical & HVAC work fronts as per agreed sequencing and targets
- Adherence to approved drawings, execution methodologies, and site instructions

Quality

- Defect rate and rework levels within assigned work packages
- Compliance with workmanship standards and quality checklists

Safety

- Zero safety violations within assigned work fronts
- Compliance with electrical safety and site safety practices

Execution Discipline

- Timely reporting of daily progress and execution issues
- Responsiveness in closing execution and commissioning-related observations

Job Specifications

Education

- B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Electrical & HVAC execution in real estate and/or allied sectors, contracting firms.
