Role Purpose: Design, develop, and validate electronic hardware systems, ensuring robust performance, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards. Contribute to product development across domains such as networking, power electronics, safety systems, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Circuit & PCB Design:
- Low to medium Voltage circuit schematics & PCB Layout design with required protection & industry standards.
- Desing multilayer PCB layouts (28 layers) with highspeed signal routing, impedance control, and mixedsignal integration.
- Optimize layouts for EMI/EMC compliance, thermal management, and reliability.
- Component Selection & Integration:
- Select ICs, sensors, active & passive components and power devices based on products requirement and cost.
- Integrate communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, CAN, RS485, Wi-Fi & BLE).
- Collaborate with firmware engineers for hardware/software codesign, testing & validation.
- Analog, Digital, Power & Safety Systems:
- Sensor Integration, Analog Signal Conditioning, Analog & Digital I/O sensing & control circuits, ADC/DAC, PWM.
- HMI Integration Led Indication, Keypads, Seven Segment LED Display Alphanumeric LCD & TFT Touch Screens.
- Design AC/DC, DC/DC converters & DC/AC Inverters circuits, Input EMI/EMC filtering & protection, PoE circuits, and surge protection.
- Implement safety features for fire/smoke detection, automatic door control, and condition monitoring systems.
- Testing & Validation:
- Conduct functional, reliability, and compliance testing (shock, vibration, temperature cycling).
- Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power & spectrum analysers, thermal cameras etc) for debugging and validation.
- Test Setup Design & Development & Automation.
- Documentation & Collaboration:
- Prepare BOMs, design files, and technical documentation.
- Work with EMS vendors for manufacturability and assembly validation.
- Support certification processes (EN50155, EN50121, EN45545, BIS).
Required Skills
- Proficient in Analog, Digital & Mixed Signal Circuit design.
- Strong knowledge of Power Electronics devices and converters.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD).
- Robust knowledge of highspeed PCB design, mixedsignal circuits, and industrial power electronics.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC design practices and safety standards.
- Handson experience with lab instruments for testing and validation.
- Ability to work crossfunctionally with firmware, mechanical, and compliance teams.
Qualification
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3-5 years in hardware design & testing, preferably in industrial, automotive, telecom, or railway systems.
- Preferred: Exposure to safetycritical systems (fire & smoke detection, condition monitoring, security & surveillance system, automation, motor control,TCMS).
