Job Purpose The Construction Electrician Trainer will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical training to candidates in electrical installation, wiring, maintenance, safety, and construction-related electrical work. The trainer will ensure that trainees develop the technical skills and workplace competencies required for employment and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver classroom and practical training as per the approved curriculum and training schedule.
- Provide hands-on training in electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Train candidates in domestic, commercial, and construction electrical systems.
- Demonstrate the use of electrical tools, equipment, testing instruments, and safety devices.
- Teach electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, circuits, measurements, and basic electrical calculations.
- Train candidates on installation of switches, sockets, distribution boards, MCBs, conduits, cables, earthing, and lighting systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, assessments, tests, and mock practical examinations.
- Maintain trainee attendance, assessment records, practical logs, and other required MIS/documentation.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional support to trainees.
- Support placement and industry-readiness activities by providing practical workplace knowledge.
- Maintain training equipment, tools, consumables, and laboratory/workshop safety.




- Coordinate with the Project Manager/Centre Head regarding training progress and trainee performance.
- Participate in inspections, audits, assessments, and monitoring visits as required.

Educational Qualification

- ITI/Diploma in Electrician, Electrical Engineering, or a related trade.
- Relevant technical certification from a recognized institute is preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant industry experience in electrical/construction electrical work.
- Prior experience as an Electrician Trainer/Instructor will be preferred.
- Experience in government, CSR, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, or other skill-development projects will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
