Job Purpose To ensure the reliable and efficient operation of all electrical systems, machinery, equipment, and utilities in the manufacturing plant by carrying out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance while maintaining high standards of safety and minimizing production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical machinery and plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in motors, control panels, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, relays, contactors, and electrical circuits.
- Monitor and maintain HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, DG sets, APFC panels, UPS, batteries, and distribution systems.
- Ensure maximum availability and reliability of production machinery by minimizing electrical breakdowns and downtime.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules as per the maintenance plan.
- Conduct regular inspection of electrical equipment and identify potential failures before breakdowns occur.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records, breakdown reports, inspection checklists, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with the Production, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Utility teams for maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper availability of critical electrical spare parts and coordinate with stores/purchase for timely procurement.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of new electrical machinery and equipment.
- Monitor electrical energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy conservation and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and company procedures.
- Conduct regular checks of earthing systems, electrical panels, cables, motors, and other electrical installations.
- Ensure proper LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures are followed during maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with external electrical contractors and service providers whenever required.




- Support internal and external audits related to electrical safety and maintenance.
- Train technicians and operators on basic electrical safety and equipment handling.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in electrical rooms, panels, and maintenance areas.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports for management.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for repeated electrical breakdowns and implement corrective actions.

Required Technical Skills
- Valuable knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of PLC, VFD, MCC, PCC, control panels, motors, sensors, and automation systems.
- Basic knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and circuit diagrams.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and breakdown analysis.
- Familiarity with electrical testing instruments such as multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester (megger), and earth tester.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and LOTO procedures.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance documentation and MS Excel / ERP systems.
- Valid C License

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
