Electrical Engineer – Civil Construction Project

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in civil construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing electrical works at the construction site, including electrical installations, temporary power supply, coordination with civil teams, testing, commissioning, and ensuring work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and execute electrical works at the civil construction site.
- Plan and manage temporary power supply, distribution boards, cables, lighting, and site electrical requirements.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil, MEP, contractor, and project teams.
- Ensure electrical installations are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor installation of conduits, wiring, cables, DBs, panels, earthing, lighting, and other electrical systems.
- Coordinate electrical provisions required for civil works.
- Inspect electrical materials and ensure proper quality and utilization.
- Carry out testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical installations.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.




- Monitor contractors and electricians to ensure timely completion of work.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site safety procedures.
- Identify technical issues and coordinate with the project team for timely resolution.

Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction-site electrical works and installations.
- Experience in temporary power supply and electrical distribution at construction sites.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings, cable sizing, DB/panel installation, earthing, and testing.
- Valuable contractor and manpower coordination skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office will be an advantage.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
