Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Chennai.

The Electrical

Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical schematics, layouts, and control panels for industrial applications. Day-to-day tasks include performing load calculations, selecting appropriate equipment, preparing technical documentation, and supporting installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and power distribution systems. The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, coordinating with project teams and vendors, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with an understanding of fundamental concepts and safety practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including creating schematics, layouts, and technical documentation for control and power systems.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Power Distribution and Power Systems, including load analysis, equipment selection, and system protection.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using relevant CAD/EDA tools and electrical design software, as well as basic project management skills.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with industrial standards and codes (such as IEC/IS standards), and experience in industrial automation or control systems is an advantage.
