We are a leading and established company engaged in wide range of APFC Panels, Change Over Panel, M/C Control Panel, Motor Control Center, PLC Control Panel, Power Control Center, Power Distribution Board, Test Bench Panel.

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for electrical panel design (LT/MCC/IMCC) and preparation of accurate cost estimates/BOQs for quotations and projects, ensuring designs are technically sound, cost-optimized, and aligned with client specifications and standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare single line diagrams (SLDs), control schematics, and panel GA drawings for LT switchgear, MCC/IMCC panels using AutoCAD/EPLAN or similar tools
- Develop detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and component lists from client specifications, tender documents, and design drawings
- Prepare cost estimates/costing sheets for quotations, factoring in component costs, labour, and overheads
- Select appropriate ratings and components (MCCB, ACB, contactors, relays, cables, busbars) based on load calculations and client requirements




- Coordinate with the Sales/Tendering team to finalize technical and commercial offers
- Review client design lists/tender BOQs against standard/master price lists and highlight discrepancies or unmatched items
- Liaise with vendors for costing inputs, technical datasheets, and component approvals
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards (IS/IEC) and client/project specifications
- Maintain and update master pricing/costing templates for recurring project types

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering (preferred), or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience
- 2–6 years of experience in electrical panel design and/or costing/estimation, preferably for MCC/IMCC/LT switchgear panels
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD/EPLAN and MS Excel (advanced formulas, BOM/costing sheets)

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

- Strong understanding of electrical panel components, ratings, and load calculations
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach to costing and BOQ preparation
- Ability to read and interpret client tender/design specifications
- Positive communication skills for coordination with sales, vendors, and production
