Job Overview

We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for developing electrical designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation for industrial and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical power distribution, LT systems, SLD preparation, cable sizing, lighting design, earthing, panel design, and AutoCAD, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with project, procurement, site, and client teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop electrical designs and engineering drawings for industrial and commercial projects.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and detailed electrical schematic drawings.
- Perform electrical load calculations, demand calculations, and equipment sizing.
- Design LT power distribution systems and electrical distribution networks.
- Prepare electrical layouts for panels, equipment, cable routes, and distribution systems.
- Perform cable sizing based on load, voltage drop, short-circuit requirements, installation method, and applicable standards.
- Prepare detailed cable schedules and cable termination information.
- Design cable tray systems and optimize cable routing based on site and project requirements.
- Carry out earthing and grounding calculations and develop grounding layouts.
- Prepare lighting layouts and perform lux level calculations for different areas.
- Select suitable lighting fixtures based on application, illumination requirements, and project specifications.




- Calculate and select transformers, LT panels, distribution boards, and other electrical equipment.
- Develop and review LT panel and distribution board designs.
- Prepare electrical BOQs, material take-offs, and support electrical estimation activities.
- Prepare technical specifications, calculation sheets, design reports, and other engineering documents.
- Review vendor drawings and technical submittals for electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, consultants, vendors, and clients for design-related requirements.
- Attend technical discussions and resolve electrical design and site execution issues.
- Incorporate client and consultant comments into revised drawings and documents.
- Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable IS/IEC standards, project specifications, safety requirements, and engineering practices.
- Maintain proper revision control and ensure timely submission of engineering deliverables.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or equivalent.
- Candidates with relevant electrical design experience and strong technical knowledge will be preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in preparing SLDs and electrical layouts.
- Experience with LT panel and distribution board design.
- Knowledge of electrical estimation and BOQ preparation.
- Understanding of electrical equipment specifications and selection.
- Knowledge of applicable IS/IEC standards.
- Ability to review engineering drawings and vendor documents.
- Exposure to project execution and site coordination.
- Good communication and technical reporting skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
