Role & responsibilities

Role: EHS Executive at Central Kitchen Facilities, TFPL

Role Definition

EHS Executive is the person who is responsible for coordination, planning, and implementation of Environment, Health and Safety management activities in the Central Kitchen (CK) facilities and Retail Outlets (ROs) in city(s) where TFPL operates.

Responsibility Deliverables

1. Statutory Compliance Identification, Tracking and Follow-up
2. Planning and Coordination on various EHS Activities in the CK and ROs
3. Developing self-skills and competence related to EHS functions in TFPL.

Tasks & Activities 1. Compliance Tracking and Follow-up

- Maintain and update the compliance tracker for your CK and ROs in the city, to ensure proactive compliance management (permits, NOCs and approvals across statutory requirements). Highlight gaps and priority actions to EHS Manager as necessary for action related to liaising with authorities
- Prepare all the required documents for EHS license applications in a timely manner (based on trigger from compliance tracker spreadsheet as well as compliance requirements as relevant)
- Follow up with Government and Municipal authorities for follow up on compliance / permit application / status

2. Planning and Coordination on EHS Activities Assist the EHS Manager and EHS Retainer Consultant at TFPL in the following activities:

- Maintaining all EHS documentation and records as necessary (based on TFPL EHSMS and Regulatory requirements)
- Planning and conducting EHS audits (Fire, Safety etc.) / checklist inspections




- Ensuring proper waste segregation and management, wastewater treatment and disposal, air, and noise pollution control in the CKs / Ros, as applicable
- Identify EHS (statutory and risk related) training activities for CK & RO staff and contractors and ensure conduct of timely training for fire drills/ mock drills etc.
- Facilitating external regulatory inspectors during visits to facility
- Coordinate with Projects dept., Functional HODs in CK and RO Managers on EHS aspects related to current projects, routine operation and emergency situations / incidents management
- Preparing draft EHS data and reporting for submission to ICICI VF

3. Developing self-skills and competence related to EHS functions in TFPL Take up proactive role in building skills related to EHS management through relevant websites, reading material and trainings provided by TFPL, from time to time. Areas of skill focus would be Indian National and State level EHS compliance requirements applicable to TFPL, improving resource efficiency, reducing incidents and overall risk management.

Administrative Job Responsibilities

- To attend all HOD & Management Meeting as required
- Prepare Safety Culture Work Module
- Conduct training sessions as and when required
- To prepare and implement all SOPs for EHS Policy
- To assist the ICICI Venture EHS Head/EHS Consultant in day to day working of the EHS Policy
- Conduct weekly/fortnightly meetings with Central Kitchen/ Outlet on EHS Policy & Performance
