Job Summary

We are looking for a Design Draughtsman to join our Design & Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and modifying engineering drawings, supporting the design team in drafting activities, and ensuring drawings are accurate and as per required specifications.

This position is suitable for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who have a basic understanding of engineering drawings and CAD software.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and modify 2D engineering drawings as per design requirements.
- Assist the design team in preparing detailed drawings for mechanical components, assemblies, and fabrication parts.
- Create and update drawings using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications.
- Make necessary revisions and corrections in drawings based on feedback from senior designers/engineers.
- Maintain proper records and revisions of drawings.
- Coordinate with the Design, Production, Fabrication, and other relevant departments for drawing-related requirements.
- Ensure drawings are prepared with proper dimensions, tolerances, symbols, and other necessary details.
- Support the preparation of BOMs and related technical documentation, wherever required.
- Follow company standards and drawing procedures.
- Perform other drafting and design-related activities as assigned by the reporting manager.





Educational Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Candidates with relevant technical qualifications and good CAD knowledge may also be considered.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.
- Ability to understand dimensions, tolerances, and basic mechanical drawings.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Good learning ability and willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Experience
- Freshers can apply.
- Candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience in drafting/design are preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates who have completed a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- Candidates with hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
- Candidates interested in pursuing a career in Mechanical Design & Engineering.
- Candidates who are willing to work closely with the manufacturing and fabrication teams.
