Role Summary

We are looking for a Draftsman with strong hands-on SolidWorks skills to support design and engineering across all three Kinemach product lines - automation and material handling equipment, Procer mixing systems, and DynaScrew screw-driving stations. This role converts design engineers' concepts into accurate, manufacturable 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs, and works closely with the shop floor to keep documentation current through the build and dispatch process.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks for machines, sub-assemblies, and fabricated/machined components across all product lines.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings - general arrangement (GA), fabrication, and machining drawings - complete with dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T; callouts.
- Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Work closely with design engineers to translate concepts, sketches, and design intent into detailed, production-ready drawings.
- Revise drawings promptly in response to design changes, engineering change notes (ECNs), and shop-floor feedback.
- Prepare drawings for sheet metal parts, weldments/fabrications, and precision-machined components in line with drafting standards.
- Create exploded views, assembly sequences,



and reference layouts to support assembly and service documentation.
- Maintain drawing revision control, numbering conventions, and documentation per Kinemach's drafting standards.
- Coordinate with production, machining, and assembly teams to clarify drawings and resolve fit/interference issues.
- Support new product development and design iterations for Procer and DynaScrew equipment, including GMP/hygienic design considerations and precision fastening system layouts where relevant.

Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 0-5 years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks - 3D modeling, assembly design, and 2D drafting (freshers with strong SolidWorks fundamentals are welcome to apply).
- Solid working knowledge of GD&T; and standard engineering drafting practices (ISO/ASME).
- Experience drafting sheet metal parts, weldments/fabrications, and machined components.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GA drawings, and BOMs independently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy under production timelines.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with design, production, and quality teams.

Preferred
- Prior experience in capital equipment or custom machine-building environments, rather than mass-production drafting.
- Exposure to GMP/hygienic equipment design for pharma, food, or cosmetic applications (relevant to Procer).
- Familiarity with fastening/screw-driving system layouts or electromechanical assembly drawings (relevant to DynaScrew).
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks PDM or similar drawing/revision management tools.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
