Profile:

Deliver design support quickly and accurately: base specifications, item selection, paver/kerb layouts, accessory coordination, QTO and limited site execution support.

Summary (software stack + what to prioritise):

- Must-have (day-to-day):
- AutoCAD 2D: all layouts, kerb lines, details/sections, issue drawings.
- SketchUp (or light Rhino): quick 3D to explain levels/edges/FreeForm features.
- Excel/Google Sheets: QTO, BOQs, kerb & accessory schedules.
- Bluebeam/PDF markup: fast checking, redlines, coordination.
- Preferred (premium capability):
- Revit (BIM): coordination with BIM consultants + quantity extraction; or just Revit literacy (view/link/sheets/basic families).
- Rhino + Grasshopper: parametric paving patterns, complex geometry, bespoke precast/panelisation.
- SolidWorks/Inventor/Fusion 360: best for product + mould design with manufacturable 3D and auto-generated 2D drawings.
- Nice-to-have (as needed):
- Civil 3D: roads, alignments,



grading, large external works.
- Enscape/Twinmotion: quick visuals for sales/presentations.
- Practical recommendation:
- For pavers/kerbs + site detailing: AutoCAD + SketchUp (plus Sheets + PDF markup).
- For mould/product design: add one 3D mechanical CAD (SolidWorks/Inventor/Fusion) and standardise on it

Responsibilities:

- Prepare paver layout drawings (pattern, cutting logic, edge treatments) from site/architect/civil drawings.
- Recommend applicationbased product selection (pavers, kerbs, accessories) and clearly record assumptions.
- Create base buildup specifications and typical sections/details for common applications.
- Prepare BOQ/QTO and schedules (kerb schedule, accessory schedule, pattern schedule).
- Support execution with settingout clarifications and simple sitefriendly sketches.
- Maintain drawing register, revisions and a library of standard details.

Skills:

- AutoCAD 2D (advanced), Excel/Sheets, PDF markup.
- Strong understanding of levels/slopes and external works detailing.
- Good drawing hygiene: layers, dimensioning, plotting and revision control.
- Transparent communication and coordination with sales/projects teams.
