Software Developer – Full Stack (.NET)

Overview

EcoEx is looking for a Full-Stack Developer to build and maintain web applications across its B2B environmental compliance and sustainability product suite. This role is a strong fit for someone early in their career — including candidates without prior experience at a tech company — who has a genuine aptitude for logical problem-solving and a real willingness to learn. We will teach you our stack;

what we're looking for is the ability to think clearly through a problem and pick up new tools quickly.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using a up-to-date JavaScript/TypeScript framework (Angular, React, or similar).
- Design and develop RESTful Web APIs.
- Write SQL queries and work with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) for data storage and retrieval.
- Integrate front-end applications with back-end APIs.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve application performance.
- Work with Docker at a basic level — running and testing containerized applications locally. (Ownership of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration sits with our Cloud Administrator role)
- Participate in code reviews and follow team coding standards.
- Use Git for source control.
- Work within an Agile/Scrum development team.
- Prepare basic technical documentation for the features you build.

Required Skills





- Solid fundamentals in C# and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Working knowledge of at least one modern JS/TS frontend framework (Angular, React, Vue, or similar) — we care more about your grasp of frontend fundamentals than which specific framework you've used.
- Comfortable writing SQL queries and understanding relational databases.
- Strong problem-solving ability and logical reasoning — assessed directly through a short coding exercise as part of our process.
- A genuine willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
- Basic understanding of Git and version control workflows.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

- Exposure to Entity Framework, or similar backend frameworks and GraphQL (HotChocolate or similar)
- Familiarity with REST APIs and how frontend and backend integrate.
- Basic exposure to Docker or containerized applications.
- Personal projects, hackathons, coursework, or open-source contributions that demonstrate initiative.

Qualifications

- B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience. Candidates early in their career, including those between roles or outside the traditional tech-company track, are encouraged to apply — we evaluate primarily on logic, aptitude, and learning ability rather than resume pedigree.
