Company Description NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC) – India is a youth development organization with a military orientation, operating across the country to promote discipline, leadership, and civic responsibility. Role Description The Director role at NATIONAL CADET CORPS – India is a full-time, on-site position based in West Bengal, India. The Director oversees regional NCC operations, including planning and executing training programs, camps, and community outreach activities for cadets.

Responsibilities include leading and mentoring staff, coordinating with educational institutions and defense authorities, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring adherence to NCC policies and guidelines. The Director also monitors program effectiveness, prepares reports, and implements initiatives to strengthen leadership development, discipline, and social service among cadets.



This position requires regular engagement with stakeholders, on-ground presence at training activities, and strategic planning to advance NCC objectives in the region.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing diverse groups or large programs.
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination abilities for managing training schedules, events, and resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cadets, staff, educational institutions, and government or defense bodies.
- Background in defense, public administration, education, or youth development programs is highly beneficial.
- Proven capability in decision-making, problem-solving, and maintaining discipline and safety standards.
- Ability to work in office, travel within West Bengal as needed, and be present at training camps and official events.
- Relevant university degree or equivalent professional qualification; prior experience in command, training, or supervisory roles is an advantage.
