BMC Helix is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer, an innovator at heart, to join a team of highly skilled software developers, responsible for TrueSight Orchestration.

About The Role

We are looking for a high-impact DevSecOps Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD, containerization, automation, and security integration. You will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and automated pipelines, enabling faster and safer software delivery across cloud-native environments.

This role requires a strong blend of DevOps Security Automation skills to embed security practices throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Power shell and Groovy

- Automate infrastructure and deployments using Ansible, scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes

- Integrate security tools and practices (DevSecOps) into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA)

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Shell, and PowerShell

- Ensure secure API development and integrations, including authentication and authorization

- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using observability tools

- Perform vulnerability assessments, patching, and compliance enforcement

- Collaborate with development, QA,



and security teams to enforce shift-left security

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure SLA/SLO adherence

Core Skills

- Strong experience in

oJenkins (CI/CD pipeline design)

oDocker & Kubernetes (container orchestration)

oAnsible (automation/configuration management)

oLinux system administration

- Proficiency in

oScripting & programming: Python, Shell, PowerShell, Groovy oAPI development & security concepts (REST APIs, OAuth2, JWT, API gateways)

- Hands-on experience in:

oSecure CI/CD pipeline implementation oSource control systems (Git, GitHub)

DevSecOps & Security Expertise

- Experience with DevSecOps tools such as:

oSAST: SonarQube, Checkmarx oDAST: Endor-Lab, Burp Suite or alikes oSecurity tools : Aqua, Semgrep, Whiehat or alike

- Knowledge of

oVulnerability management and remediation oSecrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)

oContainer security (Aqua, Twistlock, Trivy)

- Understanding of

oSecure coding practices oCompliance frameworks (OWASP Top 10, CIS benchmarks)

Cloud & Modern DevOps Stack

- Experience with cloud platforms

oAWS / Azure / GCP

- Infrastructure as Code

oTerraform, Puppet or alike

- Observability & Monitoring:

oPrometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog

- Container ecosystem

oHelm, ArgoCD or alike

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

- Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools (ArgoCD)

- Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)

- Exposure to Zero Trust security architecture

- Experience in enterprise-scale distributed systems

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
