We are hiring Cloud and DevOps Engineer for our GCC client — Europe’s top retail brand. SRKay Consulting Group is a consulting firm that helps Fortune 500 companies set up and scale Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India. Key Responsibilities

- Participate into Technical Assessment of Key projects and provide recommendation on right technical solution options.
- Oversee cloud resources follow already established policies (naming, security, quality, availability, scalability, performance, and disaster recovery).
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines to automatically analyze, test, build and deploy microservices code to cloud environments.
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automatically and declaratively provision and manage cloud resources.
- Employ GitOps practices to declaratively create Kubernetes clusters, applications, and configurations in multiple environments.
- Maintain and refine centralized monitoring strategy (logging, metrics, and alerting) for cloud resources.
- Provide expert level troubleshooting of infrastructure or application incidents, while also coordinate management with members of infrastructure, software development and testing teams.
- Work with development teams and vendors on cloud migration projects and support them with technical questions regarding CI/CD, IaC and Kubernetes.




- Create and nurture highly quality documentation about the standards, solutions, and best practices currently in place.

Requirements & Skills
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field. 5+ years of experience in SysAdmin/DevOps discipline in lieu of a degree.
- 3+ years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform at architect level. Familiarity with Azure.
- 2+ years of experience working with at least one corporate oriented CI/CD solution (GitHub, Bitbucket, Gitlab, CircleCI, Azure DevOps or equivalent) at technical and administration levels.
- 2+ years of experience working with at least one declarative Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure ARM, OpenTofu, or equivalent).
- 2+ years of experience working with at least one Container Orchestration solution (AKS, EKS, GKE, OpenShift or equivalent) at administrator level.
- 1+ years of experience working with Linux in physical and virtualized environments at expert/administrator level, with proficiency in Bash scripting.
- Expert level knowledge in creating unprivileged and size-optimized Docker containers for Twelve-Factor methodology applications.
- Expert level knowledge in at least one high level Web Development programming language (JavaScript, Go, PHP, Python, Java or equivalent).
- Expert level knowledge of HTTP protocol and related technologies at OSI 7 layer.
- Experience in identifying and troubleshooting infrastructure or application incidents.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, subnetting, routing, packet filtering, etc.
- Familiarity with database technologies and popular SQL and non-SQL solutions.
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps principles and GitOps practices.
