About the Role Shriram General Insurance is seeking a skilled DevOps Developer to automate software development and deployment processes, manage infrastructure, and improve the reliability and scalability of applications. The role involves working closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to establish efficient CI/CD practices and maintain stable production environments.

Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployments.

Manage and monitor cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments.

Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Monitor application performance, system availability, logs, and infrastructure health.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline software releases.

Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and production issues.

Implement backup, recovery, security, and high-availability practices.

Maintain infrastructure and deployment documentation.

Identify opportunities to improve automation, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.





Required Skills Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and software development lifecycle.

Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting.

Experience with Git and version control systems.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

Hands-on knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

Understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and system administration.

Robust troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.

Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Understanding of DevSecOps and security automation practices.

Experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation.

Knowledge of disaster recovery and high-availability architectures.

Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

Exposure to insurance or BFSI technology environments will be an added advantage.
