Project Role : DevOps Engineer

Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Summary

As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. This role requires setting up and maintaining continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines, while ensuring the security and reliability of these systems. The position also includes collaborating with various teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency, focusing on cloud technologies and container orchestration to support scalable and secure environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices in infrastructure automation and deployment strategies.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with security teams to integrate robust security measures into the development lifecycle.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code tools.
- Strong understanding of container orchestration and management.
- Ability to design and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of security best practices in software development and deployment.




- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability.

Additional Information

- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our PDC2C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
