Design Head – Print Magazine

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Design Head to lead the visual design and production of our print magazines. The ideal candidate must have a strong editorial design background, exceptional magazine layout skills, and extensive experience managing publications from concept through to print. The candidate should possess an excellent eye for typography, visual storytelling, colour, and composition, while ensuring every edition is delivered to the highest quality standards within strict publishing deadlines.

Experience Required A minimum of five years' experience in print magazine design is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial Design & Creative Excellence

- Design visually compelling magazine covers, feature pages, advertisements, and editorial layouts.
- Maintain a consistent visual identity, branding, typography, and design language across all publications.
- Develop creative concepts that enhance reader engagement while maintaining editorial excellence.
- Ensure every page meets the highest aesthetic and production standards.

Magazine Production & Print Management

- Oversee the complete design and production process from concept through to print.
- Coordinate closely with editorial, marketing, sales, advertising, and printing teams to ensure smooth production.
- Prepare accurate, print-ready artwork and ensure all files meet production specifications.




- Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.

Brand Development & Innovation

- Continuously evolve the visual identity of the magazines while maintaining brand consistency.
- Introduce fresh design ideas and cutting-edge layouts that keep the publications contemporary and engaging.
- Stay updated with design trends, print technologies, and editorial best practices.

Team Leadership & Quality Control

- Coordinate the team's workflow to ensure timely delivery of every issue.
- Review all pages thoroughly before they are sent to press, ensuring there are no design, layout, typography, or production errors.
- Maintain uncompromising quality standards across every publication.

Skills & Software

- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, print production, pre-press processes, and publication design.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and work within strict publishing deadlines.

Work Requirements

- This is a full-time, office-based position located in New Delhi.
- Candidates are required to work from the office five days a week.
- During magazine production and press deadlines, candidates must be willing to work on weekends, whenever required, to ensure the publication is sent to press on schedule.

Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month
