Role Description The Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Muzaffarnagar.

The Design

Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing cast iron flanges, V belt pulleys, and other mechanical components, creating detailed drawings and models using CAD tools, and collaborating with production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing specifications, performing basic engineering calculations, optimizing designs for performance and cost, and supporting continuous improvement of existing products. The role involves working closely with cross-functional colleagues to address technical issues,



maintain documentation, and align designs with safety, quality, and industry standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Design Engineering and Product Design skills, with experience in developing industrial or mechanical components.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering knowledge, including understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and basic structural analysis.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills and be proficient in relevant 2D and 3D design software.
- Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering knowledge where applicable to product interfaces or assemblies.
- Relevant qualifications include a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Additional beneficial skills include attention to detail, problem-solving ability, familiarity with industrial standards, and effective communication with shop-floor and management teams.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or metal industries environment is an advantage.
