Deputy Manager / Manager – Portfolio Management (US Market)

We are looking for a Deputy Manager / Manager – Portfolio Management (US Market) to join our team in Mumbai, India.

This strategic role will be responsible for driving portfolio growth and commercialization excellence in the US market by leading portfolio strategy, product selection, opportunity assessment, and product lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain the US product portfolio strategy, aligned with the company's overall growth and commercialization objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities through market intelligence, competitor analysis, therapeutic-area trends, patent/exclusivity assessment, regulatory considerations, and market dynamics.
- Conduct portfolio gap analysis and recommend opportunities for portfolio enhancement and expansion.
- Drive lifecycle management initiatives, including line extensions, new strengths, dosage forms, and other portfolio optimization opportunities.
- Analyze IQVIA/IMS data and market intelligence to support portfolio planning, product selection, and strategic decision-making.




- Build robust business cases and revenue forecasts, while monitoring competitor activities, market trends, patent expiries, and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Support product launch planning and monitor post-launch performance to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate closely with R&D;, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams to ensure effective portfolio execution.

Qualification & Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical Portfolio Management, preferably focused on the US market.
- Strong understanding of the US generic pharmaceutical market, including product selection, commercialization, competitive landscape, pricing, and market dynamics.
- Hands-on experience with IQVIA/prescription data, market analysis, forecasting, financial modelling, and business-case development.
- Solid knowledge of US regulatory, patent/exclusivity, and market-access dynamics, with excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
