Purpose/Objective

To lead Control & Instrumentation activities for plant projects, utilities, and manufacturing operations, ensuring reliable operation of automation systems, process controls, instrumentation networks, and industrial communication systems while driving safety, efficiency, and uptime.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of C&I; systems across plant operations.
- Manage PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, and industrial automation systems.
- Develop and review control philosophies, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, and instrumentation specifications.
- Ensure calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of field instruments.
- Monitor plant automation performance and implement improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Utilities, and Production teams during projects and shutdowns.
- Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning, and performance testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards,



statutory requirements, and quality procedures.
- Manage vendors, contractors, and AMC service providers for automation systems.
- Support digitalization, Industry 4.

0 initiatives, and process optimization projects.

- Analyze instrumentation failures and drive RCA and corrective actions.
- Mentor engineers and technicians for capability enhancement.

Qualifications and Experience

Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation, or related discipline 8-12 years of experience in C&I; engineering, industrial automation, manufacturing, power, process, or renewable energy industries.
