Location: Chandigarh

Major Job Responsibilities

- Conduct regular audits of gold loan branches to ensure adherence to internal polices, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for physical verification of gold pledged for loans in the Branches as per checklist.
- Identify potential risks, discrepancies and fraudulent activities in the gold loan operations.
- Analyze gold loan processes and recommend enhancement for operational efficiency.
- Perform Gold Loan audit of the Branches to identify areas of risk, monitor adherence to laws, regulations, policies, procedures and set standards and reinforce internal control measures.
- Responsible for conducting Gold Loan audits in the Branches assigned to them




- Conducting audit in the assigned branches in the allotted days.

Experience: Minimum 3 Years in Gold loan auditing & minimum 5 years experience in Gold loan industry.

Key Attributes

- Deep Knowledge of gold testing methods and equipment.
- Ability to identify quality & Purity of gold in any form by manual assessment
- Calculation of gold valuation pledged by customers.
- Keen eye of observation.
- Strong drafting skill to communicate observation identify during audit
- Strong communication skill
- Valuable experience of Excel to prepare report
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Gold Assessment Certificate from Recognized Organization (MSME / Govt Institute) is a plus.
- Ready for travel for 15-18 days in months.
