Network Engineer (DC ACI / Nexus)

Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer with over 2 years of hands-on experience in LAN/WAN environments and Data Center technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of enterprise network infrastructure, with a robust focus on Cisco Nexus and routing/switching protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, commission, and support Cisco routers, switches, and specifically the Cisco Nexus 9K family.

- Firmware &
- Maintenance: Perform routine firmware updates and replace faulty network hardware components as needed.

- Operations &

- Monitoring: Monitor network health and report status updates to key stakeholders. Maintain stability in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

- Troubleshooting:



Diagnose and resolve complex connectivity issues spanning firewalls, load balancers, and proxies.

- Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with cross-functional technology teams to ensure seamless network operations.

Required Technical SkillsRouting &

- Switching

- Protocols: BGP, OSPF, and Static Routing.

- Switching Technologies: vPC, STP (RSTP, MSTP), LACP, FHRP, and Multicast.

- Advanced Features: NAT, PBR (Policy-Based Routing).

Data Center &
- Specialized Technologies

- Data Center: Cisco Nexus 9K family (installation, commissioning, and configuration are mandatory).

- ACI: Basic understanding of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).

- WAN &
- Security: Working-level knowledge of WAN technologies, IPsec, GRE, and GETVPN.
