Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Databricks Solution Architect with 10+ years of overall experience and 4+ years of hands-on experience working in a Solution Architect role. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, and modern data engineering architectures .

The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Databricks and Spark, while working closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect scalable data engineering and analytics solutions using Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Define end-to-end data architecture, including data ingestion, processing, transformation, storage, and consumption.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to data engineering teams.
- Develop and review solutions using PySpark and Databricks .
- Design high-performance and fault-tolerant Spark-based data processing solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical architectures.
- Define architecture standards, best practices, design patterns, and technical roadmaps.
- Perform architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and reliability requirements.




- Troubleshoot complex data processing and performance issues.
- Mentor technical teams and guide them on Databricks, Spark, and data engineering best practices.

Mandatory Skills

- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
- Mandatory Databricks Certification or Databricks Champion status.
- Excellent knowledge of Apache Spark .
- Strong hands-on experience with PySpark .
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks .
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions.
- Strong understanding of data engineering and modern data architecture principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP .
- Experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and data quality frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data platforms.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a strong technical architect with deep expertise in Databricks and Spark , capable of translating complex business requirements into scalable data architectures. The candidate should have strong hands-on technical knowledge along with proven architectural leadership experience.
