Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in risk analytics, statistical analysis, machine learning, feature engineering, and predictive modeling. The role involves integrating data from multiple sources, developing and maintaining risk assessment models, analyzing risk trends, and generating actionable insights to support business decision-making. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring model performance, ensuring data quality and reliability, and supporting model governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

· Aggregate and integrate data from multiple sources to create unified datasets for risk analysis and modeling.

· Design, develop, validate, and maintain statistical and machine learning models for risk assessment and prediction.

· Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and model validation to improve model accuracy and robustness.

· Analyze risk trends, patterns, and model outputs to generate actionable insights for business decision-making.

· Collaborate with business, risk, and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

· Monitor model performance and stability, identify deviations,



and recommend refinements or improvements.

· Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and suitability for statistical and machine learning analysis.

· Document model assumptions, methodologies, validation approaches, and analytical processes.

· Support model governance, risk controls, documentation, and compliance requirements.

· Communicate analytical findings and model results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Expertise

· 5-7 years of professional experience in Data Science, Risk Analytics, Risk Modeling, or a closely related analytical role.

· Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.

· Strong understanding of statistical analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.

· Hands-on experience in machine learning model development, validation, and performance evaluation.

· Strong experience with data exploration, data preprocessing, and feature engineering.

· Experience in risk assessment, risk modeling, risk analytics, or predictive risk analysis.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and actionable insights from data.

· Proficiency with Python data science and machine learning libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and/or Statsmodels.

· Experience working with data from multiple sources and creating analysis-ready/unified datasets.

· Understanding of model assumptions, methodologies, model validation, monitoring, and reliability.

· Valuable understanding of data quality, model governance, documentation, and compliance requirements.
