About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Technical Architect - Data to join our team in Mumbai or Bangalore. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of large-scale AWS data platforms and Lakehouse solutions.

Your technical expertise will drive the end-to-end development of data architectures that are scalable, secure, and optimized for high performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Mentoring engineering teams and ensuring adherence to best practices will be key aspects of your responsibilities.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions on AWS. A robust background in data architecture, cloud-native data platforms, and modern data engineering technologies is essential.





Relevant certifications such as AWS Solution Architect (Associate or Skilled) or AWS Data Engineer are preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in SQL, Spark/PySpark, Python, and experience working with Lakehouse architectures using Apache Iceberg. A solid understanding of AWS services including EMR, S3, Athena, Glue Catalog, Aurora PostgreSQL, Lambda, and related data services is required.

Excellent communication skills, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of leading distributed engineering teams are highly valued. A background in data modeling, distributed processing, and orchestration workflows further strengthens the profile.

Responsibilities As an Associate Technical Architect - Data, your primary responsibilities will include leading the end-to-end design and implementation of enterprise data platforms on AWS. You will architect scalable, secure, and high-performance Lakehouse and Data Lake solutions, leveraging services such as EMR, S3, Athena, and Glue.

Your role involves developing and optimizing batch and streaming data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing best practices for data governance and security. You will evaluate and recommend technology choices, articulate architectural trade-offs, and document solutions for stakeholders. Mentoring and guiding engineering teams, conducting architecture and code reviews, and fostering engineering excellence will be integral to your role.

Additionally,



you will be responsible for performance tuning of Spark/PySpark applications, optimizing Apache Iceberg and Aurora PostgreSQL for scalability and cost efficiency, and designing orchestration workflows using tools like Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions. Your expertise will help shape the technical strategy and ensure successful delivery of complex data projects.
