Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and solution-oriented Data Analytics Expert to join our team in driving data-driven decision-making across risk, regulatory, and finance domains within our Global Capability Centre in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data visualization tools and analytics platforms, with a strong understanding of banking operations and compliance requirements. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement analytics solutions that enhance transparency, efficiency, and strategic insight.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Qlik, and Tableau to support risk, regulatory, and finance initiatives

- Translate complex business requirements into actionable data models and visualizations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk management, finance, compliance, and IT to deliver analytics solutions

- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across reporting platforms

- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various banking systems and databases

- Support regulatory reporting and compliance efforts through automated analytics and visualization

- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making





- Maintain documentation and best practices for analytics solutions and data governance

Requirements

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field

- 8+ years of experience in data analytics within the banking or financial services industry

- Proven expertise in Power BI, QlikView/Qlik Sense, and Tableau

- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing and ETL processes

- Solid understanding of banking risk, regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, IF), and financial reporting

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex data insights clearly

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus

- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI) - Preferred

- Qlik Sense Business Analyst Certification - Preferred

- Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Associate - Preferred

- Certified Analytics Skilled (CAP) - Preferred

- Knowledge of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting Regulatory Reporting, Risk Management, Capital/Profitability Management would be a plus
