About the Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual for a Data Analytics Intern position on behalf of one of our clients in the European Union. The opportunity is designed for students, recent graduates, and aspiring analytics professionals interested in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, and visualisation.

The selected candidate will support analytical projects using real-world datasets and modern reporting tools while working alongside experienced professionals in a remote environment.

Role Overview The Data Analytics Intern will assist with data preparation, analysis, reporting, dashboard development, performance monitoring, and insight generation.

The ideal candidate should have a basic foundation in Excel, SQL, statistics, and data visualisation, combined with strong attention to detail and an interest in solving business problems through data.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, organise, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
- Prepare datasets for analytical activities.
- Identify missing, duplicate, inconsistent, or inaccurate information.
- Conduct exploratory analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Analyse data to support operational and business requirements.
- Develop recurring and ad hoc analytical reports.
- Create dashboards and visualisations using business intelligence platforms.
- Monitor KPIs and relevant performance indicators.
- Write SQL queries to extract, filter, aggregate, and validate information.
- Conduct data quality checks across reports and analytical outputs.
- Use spreadsheets for calculations, analysis, and reporting.
- Translate analytical findings into clear business insights.
- Assist with presentations and stakeholder documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on reporting requirements.
- Support reporting automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in project meetings,



reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Research emerging developments in analytics and business intelligence.

Required Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of data analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or comparable spreadsheet tools.
- Basic understanding of SQL.
- Understanding of fundamental statistical concepts.
- Familiarity with data preparation and validation.
- Ability to interpret information and identify meaningful trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely.
