About The Role We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst specializing in healthcare data to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of MS SQL, healthcare data modeling, and integration processes, along with strong statistical skills.
As a Data Analyst-Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in building scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure, implementing system health monitoring, and developing continuous integration pipelines. Your expertise will support critical healthcare analytics initiatives, ensuring accurate data reporting and insights that drive strategic decisions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including healthcare operations, finance, clinical, and compliance, translating complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, healthcare analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in US healthcare analytics, including working with benefits, claims, and eligibility data, is essential. Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing healthcare datasets is required,
along with familiarity with up-to-date data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake and MySQL.
Experience creating healthcare process and data flow documentation using tools like Microsoft Visio or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities, are vital for success in this role. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of healthcare data models, data validation, reconciliation, and transformation techniques, as well as the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Responsibilities As a Data Analyst-Healthcare, your responsibilities will include analyzing large-scale US healthcare datasets such as claims, eligibility, provider, utilization, and quality data. You will develop and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze healthcare data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Supporting healthcare data modeling and integration efforts, you will work with platforms like Snowflake and MySQL to support data marts and analytics layers. Collaborating with data engineering teams, you will facilitate reliable data ingestion from source systems, including claims processing and provider systems. You will support analytics initiatives related to value-based care, population health, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
Creating process flows, data lineage diagrams, and system architecture visuals using tools like Microsoft Visio or draw.io will be part of your role. Additionally, you will document healthcare business rules, data definitions, metrics logic, and reporting methodologies, supporting the standardization of metrics aligned with healthcare programs and reporting frameworks. Engaging with stakeholders from Healthcare Operations, Finance, Clinical, Quality,
and Compliance teams, you will translate complex data into clear insights, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Your efforts will ensure that healthcare data workflows are well-documented, standardized, and aligned with organizational goals.
