Role: We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Gurugram office (Full time -On-site). This is an entry-level position designed for a highly motivated individual eager to build a strong foundation in analytics, automation, AI-driven tooling, and business intelligence. The successful candidate will play a central role in building our in-house Business Intelligence platform — a live, web-based product developed and deployed by our team, rather than an off-the-shelf tool.
The individual will work directly with senior stakeholders, including Partners, to design the underlying data infrastructure, build the platform's dashboards and interfaces, and maintain the reporting workflows that power day-to-day decision-making. A strong candidate will actively leverage AI tools and large language models to accelerate development, automate analysis, and enhance the intelligence layer of the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain database pipelines that integrate multiple data sources through APIs.
- Build and deploy live,
web-based Business Intelligence dashboards as part of an in-house BI platform.
- Develop dashboard interfaces using HTML and deploy them to production using Vercel.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries across a range of datasets and reporting requirements.
- Leverage AI tools and large language models (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to automate analysis, generate insights, and accelerate development workflows.
- Apply prompt engineering and AI-assisted techniques to build intelligent features into the BI platform.
- Automate recurring manual tasks and reporting workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver accurate daily and weekly reports for internal stakeholders.
- Interpret and translate business logic into structured analytical outputs and reports.
- Collaborate closely with Partners and senior stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Contribute to the ongoing design, development, and enhancement of the in-house BI intelligence platform.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience (internships and academic projects will be considered).
- Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write and optimize queries.
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, and data manipulation.
- Proficiency in using AI tools and large language models (such as Claude) for data analysis,
automation, and productivity, including a working understanding of effective prompting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with API integration for connecting databases and applications.
- Working knowledge of HTML for building dashboards and web-based reporting interfaces.
- Robust analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
