Job Title: Customs Brokerage Coordinator US Operations

Shift Timing: 8:30 PM 5:30 AM IST

Reports To: Customs Brokerage Manager

We are looking for a Customs Brokerage Coordinator to support our US Customs Brokerage operations. The role involves managing documentation, coordinating with clients and internal teams, supporting customs entry-related activities, and ensuring timely updates on shipment/entry status.

This is a US-facing role, therefore excellent English communication skills both written and verbal are essential.

The position is suitable for candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused and willing to learn the US Customs Brokerage process.

Industry experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate with strong communication skills and a learning attitude.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate customs brokerage documentation for client shipments.
- Support the preparation and filing of ancillary declarations and customs-related documentation.
- Review documents carefully and identify missing information or discrepancies.
- Keep clients updated regarding the status of their customs entries.
- Respond to client queries professionally and within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth processing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customs entries.
- Follow established processes,



compliance requirements and service standards.

- Develop an understanding of US Customs Brokerage processes and requirements through on-the-job learning and training.

Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who has:

- Excellent English communication skills mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Positive customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Willingness to learn US Customs Brokerage processes.
- Ability to work in a night shift aligned with US business hours.

Experience

- Previous experience in Customs Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, Import/Export Documentation or related fields will be an advantage.
- Freshers may also be considered if they demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn.
