About the Role

Techtinium Technologies is hiring a Customer Solutions Engineer to help build an AI-powered advanced production scheduling (APS) platform for manufacturers. The platform helps production planners build better schedules faster - replacing spreadsheets, legacy APS tools, and the manual workarounds planners build around scheduling systems such as SAP PP/DS, Siemens Opcenter, and PlanetTogether. The platform is used in aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing sectors.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role requiring deep ERP knowledge, not just conceptual familiarity. You will work directly with the existing and potential customers as one of the first specialized technical hires, with genuine influence over how the company approaches ERP-heavy accounts.

The role spans two connected areas:

Customer Implementation & integration — working directly with customer IT and planning teams to extract and map master data (BOMs, routings, work centers, capacities, orders) out of the customer's ERP and into the platform, and designing clean, reliable data integrations for live production use.

Competitive & Sales Support — bringing real advanced planning/scheduling implementation experience into the sales process, helping prospects understand concretely where the platform outperforms ERP-native scheduling tools (e.g. SAP PP/DS) in practice, and shaping proof-of-value engagements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation & Integration

- Lead technical discovery with prospective and existing customers running ERP systems (commonly SAP, but also Oracle, Infor, and others),



mapping their production planning data model and processes to the platform's implementation requirements.
- Design and build data integrations between the customer's ERP and the platform, including master data extraction and ongoing sync.
- Own the technical execution of proof-of-value (POV) engagements end-to-end from data extraction through pilot scheduling results.

2. Competitive & Sales Support

- Serve as the internal and customer-facing expert on where incumbent ERP-native planning/scheduling tools fall short operationally, and translate that into sharper competitive positioning.
- Support sales conversations and shape proof-of-value engagements at ERP-heavy accounts.

3. Product & Customer Support

- Partner with the product team to prioritize integration and platform requirements that support customer deals.
- Provide day-to-day customer solutions engineering support - configuration, troubleshooting, and training

What we're looking for

- 4+ years of hands-on ERP experience, with direct work in production planning modules (e.g. SAP PP).
- Practical, configuration-level experience with an advanced planning / detailed scheduling module (e.g. SAP PP/DS), ideally including at least one full implementation or migration project.
- Working knowledge of ERP data structures relevant to production scheduling: BOMs, routings, work centers, capacities,



planned/production orders.
- Experience integrating ERP systems with external systems.
- Strong communication skills - comfortable running technical discovery calls directly with customer IT and planning teams.
- Based in India, with the ability to work some overlapping hours with US-based team members.

Nice to have

- Experience with SAP specifically, including S/4HANA embedded PP/DS and how it
- Exposure to integration with adjacent planning/execution systems (e.g. SAP IBP, EWM, or MES systems).
- Prior experience at a manufacturing company (in-house), or a consulting / systems integration background.
- Startup or small-team experience — comfortable with ambiguity and wearing multiple hats.
