Role Description The Credentialing Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end credentialing processes for medical staff, including collecting and verifying provider information, completing applications, and maintaining accurate credentialing records.

The Credentialing

Specialist will coordinate with providers, payers, and internal teams to ensure timely enrollment with Medicare and other insurance networks, and to resolve any credentialing-related issues. Daily activities include tracking application statuses, updating internal systems, preparing reports,



and responding to inquiries from providers and clients. The role also involves maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies while delivering professional, service-oriented support.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Credentialing and Medical Staff Credentialing, with experience managing provider enrollment and verification processes.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with providers, payers, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Medicare and related payer requirements, including familiarity with enrollment rules and documentation standards.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in medical billing, healthcare administration, or revenue cycle management is beneficial.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and credentialing or practice management systems.
- Relevant academic background in healthcare administration, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
