Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Study Abroad Counsellor to guide students through their overseas education journey. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, understanding their academic and career goals, recommending suitable countries and courses, managing leads, and converting enquiries into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students regarding study-abroad opportunities, countries, universities, courses, and career pathways.
- Understand students' academic background, interests, financial capacity, and career objectives.
- Provide accurate information about admission requirements, application procedures, scholarships, and visa processes.
- Handle leads received through calls, walk-ins, digital platforms, referrals, and other sources.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents regularly to ensure lead conversion.
- Maintain proper records and update student information in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with university admission and visa processing teams.
- Achieve monthly counselling, application, and conversion targets.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission process.
- Stay updated with changes in university requirements, country policies, intakes, and study-abroad trends.
- Participate in seminars, education fairs, webinars, and student engagement activities when required.





Candidate Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline; relevant education/overseas education qualification will be an advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience in study-abroad counselling, overseas education, student recruitment, or related sales roles preferred.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of major study destinations such as UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Target-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable communicating with students and parents through phone, WhatsApp, email, and face-to-face meetings.
- Basic knowledge of CRM, MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital communication tools.
