Job Summary:

- In this role, you will be responsible for supporting implementation of project specific cost control and reporting procedures, estimating, analysis and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements. You will prepare cost studies, cost trends, and develop and implement project requirements for cost control. Your analysis will provide cutting-edge solutions to cost engineering challenges.

Major Responsibilities:

- Performs routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities as directed.
- Supports the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports.
- Assists with budget allocation, reporting, and cost control for specific construction disciplines or groups of disciplines.
- Prepares cost data for proposals and contracts.
- Coordinates the development and accuracy of cost reports.
- Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and accuracy.
- Prepares specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
- Investigates requirements for estimating and cost control data.
- Collects and classifies cost data.
- Performs budget allocation, reporting,



and cost control for designated construction disciplines.
- Prepares cost studies using historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
- Home office experience of minimum 3-5 years is must as a Cost specialist.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires a review of a variety of factors
- Demonstrates judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Networks and connects with internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
- Minimal supervision with some latitude for judgment
- Possesses problem-solving responsibility while working under defined guidelines
- May assist less-experienced team members
- Skilled in oral and written communication
- Proficiency in domain specific software applications - Microsoft Office Applications, Ecosys, Power BI for example.
