TOYO MODEC OFS India Private Limited (OFS India) is a joint venture company of Toyo Engineering India Private Limited (Toyo India), a subsidiary of Toyo Engineering Corporation, Japan and Offshore Frontier Solutions Pte. Ltd. (OFS), a MODEC Group company. OFS India is established as a Global Capability Centre in Bengaluru in 2024, a Captive Unit of OFS Singapore, for FEED execution, Detailed Engineering and to provide Procurement Support for the Topsides of Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) projects.
About the Role The role involves leading and supervising a team of Designers to provide designs and drawings related to the discipline of the assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications. Responsibilities
Leads and supervises a team of Designers to provide designs and drawings related to discipline of the assigned projects.
Assigns work to each of the Designers and monitors their progress to ensure timely delivery according to specifications.
Prepares specifications as inputs in RFQs to secure the services of Engineering Contractors for detailed modeling, designs, and drawings.
Evaluates bids submitted and recommends the selection of Engineering Contractors (typically 2 to 3 vendors per project).
Coordinates with the construction team and fabrication yard, sharing timely information to avoid construction delays.
Monitors outputs and progress of Engineering Contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and timelines.
Functions concurrently as the design coordinator for any FEED/EPCI project to support engineers and project management.
Consolidates all Bulk Material MTO and issues RFQ and creates PO in SAP.
Complies with MODEC HSSEQ Code of Conduct as described in the HSSEQ Policies and HSEQ Procedures.
Ensures compliance with MODEC Group’s Code of Business Conduct & Ethics and Policies. Qualifications
Relevant educational background in engineering or design disciplines.

Preferred
Skills
Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas, Offshore, Marine, or EPC industry.
Experience: 15 to 20 years of relevant industry experience.
Mandatory experience working on Offshore FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) projects.
Proficiency in AVEVA E3D software for 3D design and modeling.
Solid understanding of offshore engineering design standards and practices.
Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
