Job Summary

Global Indian International School is looking for a creative and proactive Content Writer to develop engaging academic and brand stories that showcase the school's learning environment, student achievements, and campus life. The role involves creating compelling content, supporting digital communications, coordinating with academic teams, and strengthening the school's brand across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Capture high-quality academic, classroom, and campus content showcasing student learning, achievements, projects, and school life.
- Work closely with teachers and academic teams to identify and develop engaging stories, including classroom activities, Project-Based Learning (PBL) initiatives, and student outcomes.
- Create and edit compelling content for the school website, social media, newsletters, blogs, brochures, admissions campaigns, and other marketing materials.
- Coordinate with the central marketing/social media team to ensure timely submission of content as per the content calendar.
- Manage and respond to customer queries received through the school's social media channels in a professional manner.




- Ensure all content and communication align with the school's brand guidelines and maintain consistency across platforms.
- Support content creation and brand execution during school events, celebrations, and other campus activities.
- Assist the admissions team by developing academic stories and success narratives that strengthen parent engagement.
- Gather insights from parents, prospective families, and competitor activities to support the marketing team with relevant content ideas.
- Proofread, edit, and update content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, communications, or digital content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling abilities.
- Robust proofreading, editing, and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and digital content trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with content management and digital publishing tools is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
