Role Description The Contactless Fingerprint Authentication: Domain Expert is a full-time, remote role responsible for guiding the design, development, and validation of contactless fingerprint authentication solutions. Day-to-day activities include defining technical requirements, collaborating with engineering and data science teams, and ensuring that biometric models and systems meet accuracy, security, and usability standards.

The role involves researching industry best practices, evaluating and recommending tools and frameworks, and reviewing prototypes to ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy guidelines.

The Domain

Expert will document technical specifications, create knowledge resources for internal teams, and support integration of authentication modules into broader product offerings.



The position also requires close coordination with product managers and stakeholders to align biometric capabilities with user needs and long-term business objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in biometric authentication, preferably fingerprint recognition or contactless fingerprint technologies, including matching algorithms, image processing, and liveness detection.
- Experience with machine learning or AI-based approaches to pattern recognition, Generative AI, or Predictive Analytics, particularly as applied to security or identity verification.
- Knowledge of security and privacy standards relevant to biometric systems, such as encryption practices, data protection regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Background in systems architecture or integration, with the ability to collaborate with software engineers to design scalable, cloud-based or edge-deployed authentication solutions.
- Proven ability to conduct technical research, evaluate emerging technologies, and translate complex concepts into explicit documentation and recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability, usability, and performance in real-world environments.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional, and globally distributed team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field; relevant industry certifications or prior experience in biometric or identity solutions are highly beneficial.
