What You’ll Do

- Validate technology design, software releases, new Cisco technology solutions for projects/accounts to accelerate customer outcomes
- Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate sophisticated problems& compatibility issues
- Understanding of product level architecture. Ability to apply Cisco Networking Design standard methodologies in Validation Scenarios.
- Execute test cases and write scripts based on customer test environment and requirements.
- Raise defects, liaison with Dev engineers and drive issues resolution
- Create traffic profiles with 3rd party test tools such as Ixia or Spirent.
- Create and deliver customer collateral, portals, documentation and knowledge transfer
- Align with and support company policies and processes and utilize relevant tools to efficiently execute the role and support Professional Services’ strategies and goals
- Play the role of an individual contributor

Role and specific responsibilities
- Execute and automate test cases as defined and agreed with Customer/Accounts team in Detailed test plan (DTP) .
- Automate test cases as per requirements and wherever we have identified automation opportunity, implement automation idea for delivery perfection and efficiency
- Proactively recognizes and flags problems; understands the impact and implication of the problem; works with others to resolve problem.
- Able to learn new tech/products quickly and becomes contributing member of new team in short amount of time
- Takes actions that go beyond job requirements in order to achieve goals/objectives.

Who You Are

Expertise

- Typically requires BSc Computer Science or equivalent plus 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of software programmability (Python/ansible/Rest APIs), automation, orchestration and/or virtualization is desired.
- Demonstrable experience in Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco Routers and switches.
- Expert & Professional level Cisco certifications like CCIE, CCNP would be added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to function in ambiguous circumstances. Possesses customer consulting skills including ability to establish relationships with customers, engineers, managers level & above.
- Strong understanding ,experience & expertise on technology areas mentioned below

Cisco Mobility Technologies

- Technical Expertise in Mobility Technology Domain with Demonstrated Expertise in one or more of the following areas – 2G, 3G and 4G LTE Mobile Packet Core networks
- Experience in product lines like ASR5500, Cisco SMI, Cloud Native Data Plane (CNDP).
- Familiarity with 5G network functions like SMF, UPF, PCF
- Experience in configuration and troubleshooting in Cisco ASR 5K.
- Knowledge of 5G Evolved Packet Core network integration and testing is desirable
- Working on Different interfaces & protocols i.e. Diameter, IP,SIP,S1AP/NAS
- Experience in planning, preparing details test plans for Mobility Solutions.
- E2E integration and testing of Container EPC(MME, S/P-GW-C and S/P-GW-U) would be added advantage
- Sound knowledge of signalling flows and protocols like GTP, DIAMETER, S1AP, NAS, SIGTRAN, CAMEL, BSSGP and RANAP
- Knowledge about Routing and Switching technologies, protocols and concepts would be desired.




- Hands-on experience with traffic generator tools like Spirent and Ixia is mandatory
- Ability to troubleshoot, own and resolve issues and problems during validation
- Proven ability to document appropriate technical information to serve as base for training, technical operations run books and knowledge objects.
