Job Summary

Role Summary: Seeking a highly experienced and dedicated ETL Tester with a deep understanding of data quality, data integrity, and extensive hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for testing complex data integration solutions. This senior role requires a strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and the proven ability to lead and execute comprehensive testing efforts for critical data pipelines within a healthcare domain.

Essential Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive ETL test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data warehouse, data lake, and other data integration projects.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, developers, and project managers to understand data requirements, source-to-target mappings, and data transformation rules.

- Perform extensive data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and conformity of data moved through ETL processes.

- Validate data loaded into target systems (data warehouses, data marts, operational data stores) against source systems and transformation logic.

- Utilize advanced SQL queries to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and validate data integrity.

- Identify, document, and track defects and issues related to ETL processes, data quality, and data integrity using JIRA

- Collaborate with ETL developers to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

- Provide regular status reports on testing progress, defect metrics, and overall data quality to stakeholders.





- Extensive experience in testing ETL jobs developed usingInformatica PowerCenter(Workflows, Sessions, Mappings, Transformations).

- Responsible for managing the test data corresponding to the testing approach applied.

- Fully document any unexpected anomalies or defects identified in testing, including clear instructions on how to recreate each issue.

- Ensure that defects and requirement variances are being appropriately communicated to development for correction.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Educational Qualification: Engineering (BE or B.Tech or MCA) degree from a reputed College / University.

- Must Have: 8 plus years of experience in ETL Testing Healthcare Domain experience.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing and SCD Validation concepts.

- Robust knowledge and extensive working experience of SQL.

- Good to have knowledge on Migration testing.

- Strong working knowledge in ETL processes and workflow.

- Informatica PowerCenter is must and IICS cloud is a plus.

- Relational Database/SQL experience is a must. (SQL Server and Oracle preferred.)

- A good understanding of the software development process.

- Good communication and consultancy skills.

- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language

- Experience in both Agile and waterfall Methodologies.

- Proficiency with at least one defect tracking tool (e.g., Jira)

- Knowledge of automation testing tools and languages, such as TOSCA, Selenium, or Python, is beneficial.
