Job Title: Consultant Neonatologist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Neonatologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to newborns, including premature and critically ill neonates, while ensuring high-quality patient care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide specialized medical care to newborns, including premature and critically ill neonates.
- Diagnose and manage neonatal conditions, infections, respiratory disorders, birth complications, and congenital conditions.
- Manage neonatal emergencies and provide appropriate neonatal intensive care.
- Conduct newborn assessments, routine examinations, and follow-up care.
- Manage premature and low-birth-weight babies and provide appropriate nutritional and developmental support.
- Provide guidance and counselling to parents regarding newborn care, breastfeeding, nutrition, and developmental needs.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, paediatricians, nurses, and other specialists for comprehensive maternal and neonatal care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to hospital protocols and neonatal care standards.
- Participate in neonatal resuscitation and emergency management when required.




- Stay updated with the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in neonatology.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: MD/DNB in Paediatrics with Fellowship/DM/DNB in Neonatology or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Open to freshers with relevant neonatology training and experienced candidates.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic decision-making skills in neonatal care.
- Experience in managing NICU cases and neonatal emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with parents and the healthcare team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced hospital environment.
