Job Summary:

The Operation Head Civil will be responsible for leading and managing overall project operations, ensuring timely execution, quality compliance, resource management, budget control,

and coordination across multiple project sites. The role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and operational excellence to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Operations & Execution

Oversee end to end operations of all civil construction projects across sites.

- Ensure projects are executed as per timelines, quality standards, and approved budgets.
- Monitor project progress and resolve operational challenges proactively.
- Develop execution strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement
- development plans to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.

Site & Team Management

- Supervise Site Engineers, Project Managers, and operational teams.
- Allocate manpower, machinery, and resources effectively across projects.
- Conduct regular site reviews and performance evaluations.
- Lead and mentor teams to achieve operational targets.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain positive relationships,
- resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.




- Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies, applying
- relevant knowledge to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.

Planning & Coordination

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure smooth communication between site teams and management.
- Monitor project schedules, resource planning, and material availability.
- Participate in project planning and review meetings.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, company SOPs, and safety regulations.
- Monitor compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
- Implement process improvements for operational excellence.

Budget & Cost Control

- Monitor project costs and control operational expenses.
- Review project budgets, BOQs, and expenditure reports.
- Ensure optimum utilization of resources and cost efficient

Reporting & MIS

- Prepare operational reports and project status updates for management.
- Track KPIs, project performance, delays, and risk assessments.
- Present operational reviews and improvement plans.

Qualification:

- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

(Master’s Degree preferred).

- Extensive experience in the civil and construction industry, with a proven track record of

Successfully managing large--scale projects.

- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- In--depth knowledge of project management principles, construction methodologies, and relevant regulations and standards.
- Proven financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem--solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in handling multiple civil construction / infrastructure projects/ PEB projects.

Proven experience in operations management within the construction industry.

Experience managing large teams and multi--site operations.

Knowledge of construction methodologies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
