About the Role

Job Title - Computer-Aided Design Drafter

We are looking for a skilled CAD Drafter to prepare accurate 2D and 3D engineering drawings for mechanical parking systems and related components. The candidate will work closely with the Design, Production, Project, and Installation teams to convert engineering concepts and site requirements into detailed manufacturing and installation drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Develop detailed fabrication, assembly, part, and installation drawings .
- Prepare drawings for mechanical structures, platforms, columns, beams, hydraulic components, and other parking-system components.
- Convert design concepts, sketches, and engineering specifications into accurate CAD drawings.
- Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings , layout drawings, sectional views, and detailed component drawings.
- Incorporate site measurements and survey information into design drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with approved designs, dimensions, tolerances, and engineering standards.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and drawing-related documentation when required.
- Revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, production requirements, and client/consultant comments.
- Coordinate with engineers and production teams to ensure drawings are manufacturing- and installation-ready .
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control, and documentation.
- Support the preparation of as-built drawings after project completion.
- Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, clashes, missing details, and manufacturability before release.




- Assist in creating standard drawing templates and maintaining the company's CAD library.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD .
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks / 3D CAD software is preferred.
- Good understanding of mechanical drafting and fabrication drawings .
- Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, sections, welding symbols, and engineering drawing standards.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Basic understanding of MS structures, fabrication, welding, bolts, plates, and mechanical components .
- Good mathematical and dimensional calculation skills.
- Ability to work with site measurements and convert them into accurate drawings.
- Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good coordination and communication skills.

Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting/design.
- Candidates with experience in parking systems, structural fabrication, industrial equipment, elevators, material handling equipment, or mechanical machinery will be preferred.
