This Position reports to: Project Manager
Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will be reporting to the Business Manager - Portfolio and will be responsible for in office robot debugging which includes robot system commission, functional program module writing, process debugging and problem handling.

This role is contributing to the Robotics Discrete Automation Business Area for Robot Automotive Division based in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Manage and monitor paint shop projects throughout the execution phase until Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) is obtained.
- Achieve and maintain paint process parameters such as DFT, gloss, and color values, including support for underbody coating and spray applications.
- Program and debug industrial robots for applications like spraying, gluing, flaming, blowing, wiping, and film thickness detection, along with hands-on experience in robot disassembly and maintenance.
- Operate and maintain vision measuring systems and independently perform robot simulations for new model introductions.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Paint technology/Chemical engineering/Mechanical.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in Automation Paint shops.
- Ability to Paint robot system commission, functional program module writing, process debugging and problem handling.
- In depth knowledge of Atomizers/Spray gun and gluing, flaming, blowing, wipe, film thickness detection.
- Familiar with Sealant equipment like ABB IDFP, Graco PCF, SCA Dozer and Powder coating/Solvent borne paints/water borne paint knowledge.
- Highly motivated team-player with a collaborative, learning solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
