How you'll make an impact

- Partner with hosting, cloud, and application teams to implement and operationalize FinOps practices across hybrid and cloud environments.

- Analyze cloud and hosting consumption data to identify cost drivers, optimization opportunities, and efficiency improvements.

- Develop and maintain cost models, budgets, forecasts, and showback/chargeback mechanisms for IT infrastructure and services.

- Support governance processes by defining financial guardrails, cost controls, and usage policies aligned with enterprise standards.

- Prepare and deliver financial and operational reporting that translates technical usage into clear business insights for stakeholders.

- Collaborate with finance, sourcing, and vendor management teams to support contract optimization and financial planning activities.

- Provide guidance to engineering and operations teams on cost-efficient architecture, resource utilization, and lifecycle management

Experience and Skills Required

- 4+ years of skilled experience in FinOps, IT financial management, cloud cost management, or infrastructure financial analysis.

Experience in FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, IT Financial Planning, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Cost Management, or related disciplines.

- Technical skills across cloud and hosting platforms, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization,



with the ability to interpret usage and cost data i,e (Cloudability, CloudHealth, Flexera, etc.)

- Strong business skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and translating financial data into business-relevant insights.

- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with IT, engineering, finance, and business stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with reporting, dashboards, and financial models.

- Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical and financial concepts.

- Demonstrated leadership skills at a professional level, including ownership of deliverables, proactive stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred

- Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud or hybrid hosting environments in a global or regulated organization.

- Hands-on experience applying FinOps frameworks, tagging strategies, and cost optimization techniques.

- Familiarity with automation and tooling used for cloud financial management and reporting.

- Ability to influence without formal authority and support change adoption related to financial governance.

- Experience mentoring junior team members or leading small initiatives within a broader program.
