About The Role HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Solutions Engineer / Architect to join its dynamic team across India. This role is pivotal in driving solution design and engineering efforts aimed at accelerating Google Cloud adoption at the enterprise level.

The successful candidate will work closely with global sales teams, technical architects, and industry stakeholders to craft tailored cloud solutions that address complex client requirements. The role involves leading cloud migration projects, designing modern data engineering and AI-driven automation solutions, and collaborating with partner ecosystems to scale go-to-market strategies. The position offers an exciting opportunity to influence digital transformation across diverse industries such as banking, retail, healthcare, and telecommunications, leveraging the latest Google Cloud technologies and innovations.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, with a B.E. or B.Tech degree. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience is required, with at least 2-3 years dedicated to working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Technical proficiency in GCP Compute, Storage, and Networking is essential,



along with high expertise in Data Engineering tools such as BigQuery and Looker. A foundational understanding of AI/ML platforms like Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, as well as familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), is preferred. Candidates should have proven experience collaborating with global systems integrator partners and a strong understanding of mapping value stream use cases within industries such as BFSI, RCPG, Telecom, Healthcare, or Manufacturing.

Soft skills like executive presence, effective communication, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value are critical for success in this role.

Certifications such as Google Cloud Certified Qualified Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer are highly desirable.

Responsibilities As a Google Cloud Solutions Engineer / Architect at HCLTech, your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with global sales teams and Google Cloud Architects to respond to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring tailored solutions meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
- Developing ROI models and hyperscale funding strategies that optimize TCO for clients adopting Google Cloud solutions.
- Designing industry-specific use cases for cloud adoption, modernization, and managed services, focusing on delivering tangible business value.
- Leading technical workshops and creating reference architectures for data center migration, cloud modernization, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Designing and implementing Google Cloud Native applications, including enterprise-grade Data Engineering stacks utilizing BigQuery, Looker, and Vertex AI.
- Innovating with Gemini Enterprise Agentic AI and GenAI solutions to enhance enterprise automation, IT managed services,



and cloud operations.
- Building strong partnerships with Google GSI (Global Systems Integrator) partners to co-develop solutions, scale go-to-market strategies, and expand solution reach.
- Applying industry domain expertise to map value stream use cases, ensuring solutions are aligned with client business objectives and industry standards.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Google Cloud technologies, certifications, and industry trends to provide innovative and competitive solutions.
