About the Role

This is a newly created role at Vigocare, established as the company scales. The Clinical Training Specialist will be the clinical knowledge backbone of the commercial organization: training internal sales and support staff, and directly training external stakeholders such as doctors, nurses, and technicians at hospital accounts.

The role is designed to directly improve the efficiency and productivity of the sales team by accompanying them on joint field visits, resolving clinical queries raised by doctors on the spot, and coaching sales representatives on how to run more effective, credible meetings with doctors and other key hospital stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Internal Training & Sales Enablement

*Design and deliver structured clinical and product training programs for new hires and existing sales team members.

*Train sales representatives on effective engagement techniques with doctors, nurses, and other key stakeholders

*covering meeting preparation, clinical positioning, and objection handling.

*Conduct refresher trainings based on identified performance gaps in the field.

Track training effectiveness through pre/post assessments and field observation.

Partner with Sales/Commercial leadership to identify capability gaps and design targeted coaching interventions.

*Provide structured feedback to learners, sales leadership, and the training/content design team.

*Support the onboarding and structured ramp-up of new hires enrolled in the training program.

*Maintain and continuously update training content, materials, and clinical collateral.

*Drive creative training methods to improve retention and cost efficiency.

2. External / Client (Hospital) Training

Conduct clinical training sessions for external stakeholders like doctors, nurses,



technicians, and paramedical staff on product usage, applications, and best practices.

Deliver on-site or remote training to hospital staff on new installations, upgrades, or product developments.

*Support customer/clinical demonstrations at hospitals, trade events, and conferences (local, regional, and national).

*Handle and clarify clinical queries raised by doctors and other stakeholders, ensuring accurate, timely, and clinically sound responses.

*Develop tailored training programs for hospital accounts on the appropriate use of Vigocare's products/solutions.

3. Joint Field Support

*Accompany sales team members on joint field visits/meetings with doctors and key hospital stakeholders to strengthen deal conversion and clinical credibility.

*Coach sales representatives in real time on meeting structure, clinical positioning, and handling doctor objections.

*Act as the clinical point of escalation for technical/clinical questions that the sales team cannot independently address.

4. Governance, Reporting & Self-Development

*Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training activities, timesheets, expense reports, and training reports.

*Track and report training effectiveness metrics to Sales/Commercial leadership.

*Maintain personal competency through certifications and ongoing internal/external training; complete organizational training in a timely manner.

*Support internal product testing and customer-satisfaction validation activities as required.

*Work toward and achieve Train-the-Trainer certification

Required Qualifications & Experience

*Bachelor's degree, preferably with a medical/paramedical background (e.g., BPT, GNM/Nursing, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BDS, or equivalent).





*5+ years of experience in clinical training, field sales, sales support, or a clinical/technical role within the medical device or healthcare industry.

*Proven track record of designing and delivering training to both internal teams and external (hospital-facing) audiences.

*Strong stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience engaging doctors, nurses, and hospital administration.

*Excellent facilitation and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex clinical concepts for varied audiences.

*Proven ability to create impactful training content (PPTs, learning aids, assessments).

Skills & Competencies

*Strong understanding of clinical workflows and the needs of hospital-based customers relevant to Vigocare's product/solution area.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders such as doctors and hospital administrators.

High self-motivation; ability to work independently with minimal supervision within a flat/matrixed organizational structure.

*Analytical, proactive, and results-oriented approach to problem-solving and continuous process improvement.

*Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and comfort with virtual/LMS-based training delivery.

*Strong account-management orientation; ability to build and sustain long-term relationships across all levels, internal and external.

Job Requirements

*Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions in India, including non-standard hours, as required for field and hospital visits.

*Fluency in English and Hindi is required; proficiency in Telugu or another regional language is a strong plus depending on assigned territory.

*Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Graduate with a medical/paramedical background (BHMS, BUMS, BPT, MPT, BDS, BAMS, or Nursing).

*Exposure to account management or CRM tools.

*Working knowledge of commercial/sales functions within the healthcare industry.
