We are seeking an innovative and adaptable Clinical Psychologist to lead our Virtual Reality (VR) therapeutic programs for neurodivergent individuals, primarily those on the Autism Spectrum. In this role, you will leverage immersive VR environments to help clients develop social cognition, manage sensory processing challenges, and practice real-world scenarios—such as navigating public transit or attending job interviews—in a safe, controlled, and repeatable setting.
Key Responsibilities Immersive Therapy Delivery: Design and facilitate evidence-based therapy sessions (e.g., CBT, social skills training)to simulate complex social and environmental scenarios.
Sensory Calibration: Continuously monitor client biofeedback and emotional states during VR exposure, actively adjusting visual and auditory inputs in the software to prevent sensory overload and gradually build tolerance.
Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive developmental and psycho-educational assessments using standardized tools to establish baselines and determine a client's readiness for VR interventions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and software development teams to design, test, and refine new virtual environments based on clinical needs.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze session data captured by VR platforms alongside traditional clinical observations to track milestones in anxiety reduction and behavioral adaptation.
Caregiver Integration: Educate parents and families on how to bridge the gap between virtual achievements and real-world application, providing actionable home programs.
Essential Qualifications Masters degree or M.Phil or Doctorate (Ph.D./Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution.
Masters in Occupational Therapy Active registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) or equivalent national licensing body.
Experience Minimum of 4–13 years of hands-on clinical experience working directly with children, adolescents, or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Skills & Competencies Tech Fluency: Strong comfort level with digital health platforms and VR hardware . Prior experience in telehealth or tech-assisted therapy is a solid advantage.
Crisis Management: The ability to de-escalate anxiety and manage challenging behaviors if a virtual scenario triggers an adverse reaction.
