Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Cinema Hall Manager to oversee the complete day-to-day operations of a cinema hall in Biswanath Chariali, Assam.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, customer service, operational, and team-management skills. Experience in cinema operations, hospitality, retail, entertainment, or a similar customer-facing industry will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the cinema hall.
- Ensure smooth functioning of ticketing, box office, auditorium, food & beverage, housekeeping, security, and customer service operations.
- Supervise and manage cinema hall staff and allocate duties effectively.
- Ensure all shows start and finish on schedule.
- Monitor ticket sales, occupancy, revenue, and daily business performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and ambience throughout the premises.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure proper functioning of projectors, sound systems, air conditioning, elevators, lighting, and other facilities.
- Monitor inventory and stock of food, beverages, promotional materials, and other operational items.
- Coordinate with distributors and management regarding movie schedules, show timings, promotional activities, and operational requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and sales reports.
- Monitor cash handling, billing, reconciliation, and banking procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with security personnel and handle emergency situations appropriately.
- Conduct staff training and maintain discipline within the team.
- Implement promotional and customer engagement activities to increase footfall and revenue.
- Monitor competitors and local market trends and suggest initiatives to improve business performance.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have:

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage busy show schedules.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as required by cinema operations.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- MBA/PGDM in Hospitality, Management, Marketing, or a related field will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in cinema, multiplex, hospitality, retail, restaurant, entertainment, or other customer-facing operations.
- Candidates with previous experience as a Cinema Manager, Theatre Manager, Operations Manager, F&B; Manager, or Unit Manager will be preferred.
